Family Fun

This is our niece Madison! Emily did our family pictures a couple of weeks ago and I have to show off how cute these kids are. We did not get our families done so I don't have any of Bowdy but Mikeys two kids and Trishas two kids are so cute and Emily did an amazing job as always! Then we did a flock shot. That was a chore but I am glad that we did!

So here are a couple pictures of the house. We are getting closer! I am getting excited. The appliances got here yesterday but they are not in I will post a picture when they are but it is a good sign that we are getting closer right? :-) I think that carpet is going to be here Friday. So please everybody hope for good weather for the next week or two so that we can get it all done and moved in without tracking in a bunch of mud in on the new carpet! Well that is about it. Hope all is well!

California!!!

Disneyland!!

Waiting to go on the Whinney The Pooh ride. Also getting ready to go on the Carousel. It was a geat time. It was really fun. I think that Bowdy enjoyed it. There were some fun rides for him.

Yes that is a skin tight wet suit!!
The water was so cold; so these helped a little keep us warm. I was a big chicken all weekend and then at the last part of the last day I decited that I wanted to try it. So I got in and it was really cold, but I got up on the surf board on my first try. It was so fun. I wish that I would have tryed the first day so that I could have done a lot more of it. Jason was really good. He got up a lot. We all had so much fun. It was really a great weekend. Bowdy had so much fun. He loved the water and the sand. He loved it all.

This is Bowdy enjoying Tahne's hat on the sea wall. We were all watching the kids play in the ocean.

Aunt Diane helped keep Bowdy out of trouble most of the time. They are sitting on the hot tub deck, and you can see the sea wall behind her. That is how close the house is to the water.

It has been way to long!!

This is in the master closet. I am so excited for a real closet. For all of you that have seen my closet right now you totally understand how excited I am. It will be great to have some room and a place for everything.

This is the kids bathroom upstairs. We put tile in it and our bathroom both. It was some very long nights but I love how it turned out so I think that it was worth it. Craig Hoffman helped us with it. He is great. We couldn't have done it without his help. Well we probably have done it but it would not have been done right or looked as good. :-)

This is the entryway. That is the bottom of my front door that you can kind of see. Jason and I laid the wood. We put it in the two rooms that you can see on the right and the left, and also in the laundry room upstairs. Then we had Kade come and help us with this main part. It was really not the bad to do.

This is the living room. We have walls and they are textured but still no paint!

So it looks like a junk yard right now. I keep thinking that I am going to haul a load to the dump,
but I still haven't done that. We have the stucko on. They are going to put the stucko color on in a couple of days. We are just waiting for the cabinets to come then they will paint. It is really getting exciting. Cliff said that he wants to be done by the opening day of the hunt which is the 15 of Oct. I think. So that is the plan. About a month. I am still just wanting to be in by Thanksgiving. I am not wanting to get my hopes up. Well that is about it for the house. It has been a crazy summer. We have been going nonstop, but really not with anything fun. Fair and Cowboy Days kept us all very busy. :-)

Forgot about these!!!

Forgot that we had Bowdys pictures done also. I met Nicole in Ogden before we went to Logan and she was getting her little boys pictures done and they were haveing a sale and I am a sucker for a sale so we did Bowdys also. They turned out so good it is so fun. I hate that he looks like a big boy though!!!

Update on the house!!!

Looks like a bunch of wood to me but I hope that in the end it is a bedroom with a bath and closet!!! :-)
So windows are in and most of the doors are on there are a couple that we have to wait for the concrete to get done. The shingles are on also. It is getting exciting. It is all framed in and the electrical is done. The plumbing and the heating and air are also done. So I think that we are just waiting for the inspector to come and then we will be doing the walls. It is all going smooth so far so I guess we will just see. I am getting excited about it though. Jason has been gone on a pack trip with the young men so I have been going through things and kinda packing things up. I know that it is kind of early but they are saying that we should be in in Oct so I really don't want to try and cram it all at the end. And mom will be back in school so she will not be around be take Bowdy for me to give me some time to get things done. He can unload a box faster than I can pack one!!!!

Lots to catch up on!!!

Still trying to figure this blog thing out so the pictures are backwards and I dont have the time to start again so that is what it is I will try and remember next time I post that is happened. :-) Bowdy loves the computer so I really do not get to get on when he is up so I try and get things on here done when he is sleeping so that is me being me! Just trying to get it all together!!!

I am not sure if he is crazy or just fearless, but he would much rather go down face first than sit on his bottom!! He loves it!

Signs of that red snowcone on those cheeks!

So we went to Logan and spent the night with Diane Wednesday night and we took Bowdy to the park there to see the animals. We didn't go until about 8:00 pm so that it would not be so hot. He loved the snowcone but really did not get that into the animals. There were mostly birds so I guess as a 1 and a half year old if you see one bird then they all are about the same. He was really good but he really didn't get that excited about them. Also there is a park with swings and slides within sight and he was paying more attention to that then he really was at the animals so we made it quick there and then took him to the park and he loved it. He had a blast. It was really good cause when we got him back to Dianes house he was spent and went straight to bed. It was really fun and it was great cause mom was over there also for a class so she and Diane went with us. He loves them. This "RED" snowcone might have something to do with that!! LOL

Last weekend we went to the Lyman Ranch Rodeo while Jason picked up. It was a really good time. I was dragging my feet about going just because Bowdy is at the age he wants to run the whole time, and he still doesn't know that he can't just run under horses and stuff so it is a full time job just trying to keep him out of danger. It was really fun though. He loves to be on the horse so that keeps him busy, and then Shawn and Cari Martin were there so I just hung out at the truck with Cari and her kids. Her girls are really good help with Bowdy. It was a good time.

Bear Lake

We had a great day at Bear Lake. We went with Kade and Nicole and their kids. It was great fun. Kade got a jet ski and took the kids for a ride and they loved it. Bowdy has only been to the lake one other time. He had so much fun I feel bad that I am this close and we never go. He ate a lot of sand and he loved to put his face under the watch. I was a nervice wreck but he was fine and had a ball. I am so glad that they called us to go.

House

So this is where we are with the house. The outside is almost framed. The trusses should be here the end of this week and then they will start framing the inside. I am getting excited.
Hey Diane I hope that this will clear up the image that I was trying to tell you today about it. That is the scoop on the house.

We had a really fun weekend. Four rodeos in three days and Jason was not in one of them. It was a long hot weekend, but it was fun. Woodruff was a fun couple of days, and then we had the Evanston Rodeo Series. We had a fun weekend. Becky (Jason's mother) got home from Hawaii and had a really good time. It was so good for her. I am so happy that she went and had fun!!!

Lava

We went to Lava Hot Springs this last weekend! It was so fun. It was the whole family so Bowdy had so much
fun with the kids! They played with him in the water at the pool, and then we went to dinner and he was out of control. I was getting after him until I realized that the kids were on the other end of the table making faces at him. So he was showing off. It was a really good time. This is Hawkin, Jason, and Bowdy in the pool! I was on the side soaking up the sun.

Diane and Jerry came on the bikes and Bowdy thought that they were cool. Grams you look good!

Fun new pictures!

I just got these new pictures today from the Testi Festi, and they are fun so I thought that I would share them. Mom I hope that you are impressed!! You get to see what it was all about because you didn't get to go. Jason entered the stock saddle bronc riding, and he was the headless horseman. It was pretty good watching! He ended up 3rd. It was a really fun couple of days.
Also the picture on the top right was from the queen contest last Saturday, and Andy May Cornia took Bowdy on a little ride, and he loved it. I am pretty sure that we are in trouble he loves horses. He was in heaven!

Just getting started!!!

Okay....well all of my friends have a blog and I was feeling a little left behind so I thought that I would try and catch up on things and enjoy this with them!!!
We are in the process of building our house, and it has been a joke, but I got good news today that the paperwork has gone through and they will be back next week to get back to work on it. This is after a month of waiting. So I am so excited!!!!
